Originally from Spokane, Washington, Dr. Yturri earned his BA degree in Philosophy at Gonzaga University. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Washington. Dr. Yturri is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of Hospital Medicine. 

For 27 years, Dr. Yturri practiced internal medicine in Great Falls, Montana, mostly as a Hospitalist. During this time, he also held leadership positions which included Medical Director of the Benefis Hospitalist Program, Medical Director of a large Extended Care facility, Chief Medical Officer of Benefis Medical Group, and Governor of the Montana Chapter of the American College of Physicians. In addition, Dr. Yturri has had past experience in post-graduate medical education as a full-time core faculty member at the Billings Clinic Internal Medicine Residency.

Dr. Yturri serves as a Faculty Advisor for the Internal Medicine Interest Group and the Cardiology Interest Group at Touro COM-Montana. He is very aligned with Touro's mission to "serve the underserved," which has been demonstrated by his dedication to serving the homeless in the Great Falls community over the past 25 years.
