Dr. Wang earned her Medical degree from Fudan University, China and her Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology from Drexel University. Dr. Wang joined Touro COM in 2015 as a Pharmacology faculty member after completed post-doctoral training in Cell Biology and Kidney disease at National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). Dr. Wang is a committed educator and celebrated teacher among the students: she is two-time recipient of Touro COM Middletown’s Teacher of the Year award and winner of 2021 Touro Presidential Award for Teaching Excellency. Dr. Wang has been part of leadership teams at Touro college of Osteopathic Medicine since 2017. She serves as Chairs of multiple committees and as Director of Pharmacology I and II on Middletown campus. Dr. Wang is an active researcher and Principal Investigator of three ongoing research projects. She has publications in the fields of cardiovascular and kidney disease and serves as Associate Editor on the JAOA Editorial Board.
