Ranjan Solanki

Ranjan Solanki, MBBS, MD, is a medical educator with more than two decades of teaching experience in pathology. He is a compassionate educator and researcher. Besides teaching Pathology to graduate and undergraduate students, Dr. Solanki has been involved in clinical pathology, histopathology, cytopathology, and hematology.

At Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine - Middletown Campus, he teaches systemic pathology in various organ systems. Before joining Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, he was Assistant Chair of the Department of Medical Foundations at Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM). He was involved in the NBME CAS project and in implementing formative assessments. He additionally taught systemic pathology on a part-time basis at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC). Dr. Solanki has been involved in curriculum auditing and alignment based on the USMLE content outline and curriculum mapping project. Before joining Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM), Dr. Solanki was Associate Professor of Pathology and Curriculum Chairperson at Trinity School of Medicine (TSOM), St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He was also an Associate Professor and course director of System and Diseases V at the Medical University of the Americas (MUA) in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Dr. Solanki’s teaching philosophy involves imparting knowledge to the students and helping them comprehend the subject so that they can acquire analytical skills, application abilities, constructive strategies, and evaluation abilities.
