Dr. Becky Slater is our Medical Simulation Associate Course Director. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Seattle Pacific University in Biology and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University. She completed her residency at Saint Louis University and is board-certified in Emergency Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She is the faculty advisor to the Medical Simulation Club. She also works as an emergency medicine physician at our affiliated institution, Benefis Health System. 

Dr. Slater employs collaborative communication and decision-making with cutting-edge technology to implement medical simulation scenarios in educating our students. She is passionate about giving our students the skills necessary to be successful on clinical rotations.  She uses her real-life cases and background to improve medical education while giving a thoughtful and balanced outlook on life as she is a mother to 4 children. She loves Montana and enjoys the many outdoor activities and adventures it offers.
