Grace Malvar, MD
Dr. Grace Malvar is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at TouroCOM-Montana, where she teaches pathology and histology. She earned her undergraduate degree in Ethnic Studies, completed post-baccalaureate courses, and conducted clinical research on physician-surrogate communication in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Malvar went on to obtain her medical degree at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and complete a combined residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), followed by several subspecialty fellowships at BIDMC and at Yale University. Her professional interests span medical education, quality improvement, and pathology with a focus on renal, gastrointestinal, and hepatobiliary areas. Outside of academia, she enjoys plant photography, pathology art, and karaoke.
