Mary Banihashem, MSc, DO (U.K.)
Mary Banihashem, Associate Professor of Osteopathic Medicine, has been lecturing and training osteopathic medical students in both the United States and Europe for more than 20 years. Dr. Banihashem has held faculty positions at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where she directed the first year program. At Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, she held an assistant professor position where she was involved with the Osteopathic post-graduate training and the third and four year program. She also taught and developed the first and second year program as well as a parallel curriculum in problem based learning. She taught continuing medical education programs at both LECOM and TouroCOM. She is currently First Year Course Director in the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department. She also initiated and is directing the OMM Teaching Assistant Program.
