Dr. Capozzi’s 25 years of professional experience spans the entire continuum of osteopathic medical education including preclinical, clinical, graduate medical education (GME) and continuing medical education (CME). In the realm of interprofessional education, she had teaching roles in numerous programs, including physician assistant, nursing, undergraduate nutrition and public health.

Dr. Capozzi is a graduate of the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine and is board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, as well as a diplomat of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME). She is also a board-certified nutrition specialist (CNS). As part of her commitment to lifelong learning, Dr. Capozzi completed a Mini-Fellowship in Clinical Nutrition at the NY Academy of Medicine and a Mini- Fellowship in Geriatric Medical Education and Career Development at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
