NYCOMEC Blue Osteopathic Recognition Webinar Series featuring Dennis Burke, DO, Assistant Professor, Department of OMM, Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (Harlem).

The Ob/Gyn Student Organization is excited to continue the exploration of careers in the field with a visit from Dr. David Boes, President of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists! He will be presenting on Ob/Gyn residencies, sub-specialties, resources available through ACOOG, the Single Accreditation System, and much more. This will be a great opportunity for those considering a career in Ob/Gyn to get all of their questions answered! All are welcome, you DO NOT need to be a member of the Ob/Gyn Student Organization to attend.

Please come and hear quick (3min) speeches from your future Harlem SGA Executive Board, and ask them any questions you may have. Voting will open after speeches finish.

Do you want to learn more about defibrillation and cardioversion? During this event, Dr. Colbourne will teach you how to recognize lethal heart rhythms and how to intervene using cardioversion and/or defibrillation. There will be opportunities to practice identifying these rhythms on EKG and use your new skills to either cardiovert or defibrillate them.
