TouroCOM Harlem's RHC and SIGN will be hosting a Lunch and Learn session with Dr. Mackenzie Lerario.  Dr.  Lerario (they/them/Doctor) is a vascular neurologist and transgender activist. They are currently an MSW candidate at Fordham University, Vice-Chair of the American Academy of Neurology's LGBTQI Section, and they serve on the editorial board of Neurology: Clinical Practice.  Dr. Lerario's interactive lecture and discussion will be on the topic of Social Innovations in Gender Minority Neurology.  Pizza will be served.  Join us and learn more about transgender health in practice!

Please join TouroCOM Middletown's Rainbow Health Coalition, SOMA, and our special guest speaker Dr. Kinton Rossman for a discussion on the history of transgender/gender diverse populations’ medical care and current experiences of patients.  Through this event, we hope to increase medical providers’ knowledge of transgender and gender-diverse populations with a focus on improving patient care as future osteopathic physicians!
