Do you want to learn more about defibrillation and cardioversion? During this event, Dr. Colbourne will teach you how to recognize lethal heart rhythms and how to intervene using cardioversion and/or defibrillation. There will be opportunities to practice identifying these rhythms on EKG and use your new skills to either cardiovert or defibrillate them.

Students consistently asked for information regarding decision making for 4th year electives, match strategies, and potential boards issues, both COMLEX and USMLE. The goals of the meeting is to make sure that all students understand the purpose of 4th year electives and role they play in choosing careers, residency choices, etc. That board scores can predict match results. That elective choices influence students, residency directors, DMEs, future practice patterns, and ongoing behavior.
