Congratulations to our Master of Science and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Class of 2020 graduates! We're excited to celebrate your big day with you. Review the information here and the important details on the DO logistics and MS logistics pages for the details you'll need to make sure everything goes smoothly.

DO Graduation & Commencement

Graduation Eligibility

Students who have met and fulfilled all of the following criteria are eligible for graduation:

  • Complete degree program by the close of the 2020 Spring Semester
  • Complete your application for graduation by logging on to the TouroOne portal. All applications must be completed by April 30th, 2020.
  •  Alumni Data Collection Survey
  • Complete AACOM 2019-2020 Academic Survey of Graduating Seniors. SURVEY IS CURRENLT ON HOLD UNTIL UPDATED SURVEY IS AVAILABLE. An email will be sent out as soon as it is avaiable.
  • Complete Exit Counseling, if you applied for federal loans during your attendance at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (contact the Office of Financial Aid)
  • Fulfill all financial and academic obligations to the University = “Good Standing”

Diplomas will be issued after ALL of the above requirements are fulfilled.

If you would like to receive your diploma on the day of graduation, you will need to meet the requirements by the dates listed below.

Commencement

Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine invites all eligible graduates to participate in Commencement. Harlem Campus ceremony will be on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 11:00 am EST at the Apollo Theater, 253 W 125th Street, New York, NY 10027 and Middletown Campus ceremony will be on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm EST at the Paramount Theatre, 17 South St, Middletown, NY 10940.

  • Harlem graduates must order Cap, Hood, and Gown by Friday, February 7, 2020 Harlem DO Class of 2020 Cap & Gown/Invitations & Hooding Roster.
  • Graduates not attired in appropriate academic regalia will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
  • Graduates are responsible for all of their own regalia. No regalia will be made available at Commencement.

Graduation refers to the fulfillment of your requirements to earn your degree. A student must complete the application to graduate form, be considered in good standing (all fees paid, transcripts provided and assessed), and all coursework satisfactorily completed.

Commencement refers to the ceremony where upon the achievement of the degree is recognized and celebrated by the Touro University & College System, the graduates, and their family members.

Diplomas will be distributed by the Office of the Registrar on Thursday, May 21, 2020 for Harlem graduates after the graduation ceremony to those students who have fulfilled ALL of the necessary requirements to graduate.

MS Graduation & Commencement

Commencement

Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine invites all eligible graduates to participate in the Harlem Campus Master's Commencement on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 9:00 am EST at The Alhambra Ballroom, 6th floor; and Middletown Campus Master’s Commencement on June 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Paramount Theater.

According to Touro College policy you are considered to be a “Candidate for Graduation” status until the institution confirms you eligible to receive a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Biological and Physical Sciences.
