TouroCOM Middletown Honored with a “Pillars of the Community” Award from Cornerstone Family Healthcare

MIDDLETOWN, NY – Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM) in Middletown, NY received a “Pillars of the Community” award from Cornerstone Family Healthcare, a non-profit healthcare provider in the Hudson Valley. Dr. Kenneth J. Steier, Executive Dean of TouroCOM, accepted the award at Cornerstone Family Healthcare’s annual gala on November 2. Cornerstone Family Healthcare has been honoring outstanding individuals and institutions that support its philosophy that healthcare is a right and not a privilege for 20 years. The gala also raises funds to support Cornerstone Family Healthcare’s commitment to providing quality care to patients in Orange, Rockland, Ulster and Broome Counties in New York and in Pike County, PA.

“We are very honored to receive this amazing award from President and CEO Linda Muller and her team at Cornerstone Family Healthcare, which provides care to over 48,000 patients, regardless of their ability to pay,” said Kenneth J. Steier, DO, Executive Dean of TouroCOM. “Receiving this award aligns with our mission at TouroCOM, which is to train excellent physicians and improve the health care of our community.”
