Dr. Kenneth Steier Named to Board of Catskill Hudson Health Center

Founding Dean of TouroCOM Middletown to Serve on Board Until 2018

New York, N.Y. – Dr. Kenneth Steier, founding dean and professor at Touro College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, N.Y., has been appointed Board Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee for the Catskill Hudson Area Health Education Center (AHEC). The term will run through Feb. of 2018.   

“We are pleased that Dr. Steier has stepped forward for this service and know that our partnership with Touro College will produce powerful results in fulfilling the organization’s mission to improve quality and quantity of healthcare services for underserved populations and in places with healthcare shortages,” said Steven L. Kelly, President of the Board of Directors of the Center.   

The AHEC serves 11 counties in the Hudson Valley area: Columbia, Greene, Delaware, Dutchess, Orange, Otsego, Putnam, Rockland, Schoharie, Sullivan, and Ulster.
