TouroCOM-Harlem students unwind with a surprise visit from some adorable furry friends
To take a break from studying for their upcoming exams, practicals, and Boards, TouroCOM-Harlem students were treated to a surprise visit from some cute, furry puppies.
Organized by the presidents of SSPSSP (opens in a new tab) (Priyal Bhagat), AMSAAMSA (opens in a new tab) (Sally Ziatabar), AMAAMA (opens in a new tab) (Celsa Tonelli), and SOMASOMA (opens in a new tab) (Sean Sussman), the event was a rousing success. One hundred fifty students spent some time playing and petting the three-month-old pups in a brief reprieve from the rigorous workload of medical school.
"It was the perfect way to relax," said second-year student Jacques Townsend.
Aileen Babaran, OMS-I, agreed."I've never seen so many stressed medical students so collectively happy before!”
