Join the Wilderness Medicine Club for a hike around the Bull Hill Short Loop in Cold Spring, NY!
Hiking and medicine both require resilience and perseverance, making hiking an excellent way to exercise the body while learning valuable skills. Our goals are to:
- Familiarize students with the natural environment and
- Prepare medical students for scenarios where emergency medicine is needed while in the wilderness
All students attending this hike will need to sign a waiver. Please contact George Oliva for the waiver and/ or any questions about this event.
Transportation options to Cold Spring, NY:
- George will be driving from the Harlem campus and will be leaving at 9:00 AM. He has room for 4 passengers.
- Take the 9:01 AM Metro-North train (Hudson Line, from the Harlem/125th Street station) to Cold Spring Station and George will pick you up from the station.
Both Harlem and Middletown students are welcome to join. The expected return time to the Harlem campus is approximately 2:00 PM.
