SNaHP and PHR's invite you to attend a discussion with Dr. Betty Kolod about New York Health Act 101 and what universal healthcare can look like in New York.
Dr. Betty Kolod, Board Chair of New York’s Physicians for National Health Program, will be speaking about the state of the New York Health Act which aims at creating a single-payer health system for the state of New York in hopes of providing universal health care. It is important for future physicians to be aware of how private insurance significantly decreases access to health care and how this bill would alleviate that burden.
