Team TouroCOM Percy Sutton Harlem 5K Run/1.5M Walk
The Percy Sutton Harlem 5K Run/1.5M Walk (Celebrating the Journey- Full STREAM Ahead) will be held on Sat Aug 22nd. Please join us! The run will be held at 8:30AM, while the walk will be held shortly afterwards ~9AM.
If you are interested in participating, please email Dr. Bahri ASAP. The registration is $26. Please do not register directly with NY Road Runner because the cost is higher ($34). If you are training for the marathon, and you already have a NYRR web login, it can be linked to our Team.
Last day to register for either the run or the walk is Aug 11th.
This 5K race honors the late Percy Sutton, who as Manhattan borough president in the 1970s championed the New York City Marathon as a five-borough event and remained a supporter of NYRR and running throughout his life; he passed away in 2009. The run celebrates historic Harlem and is part of HARLEM WEEK, one of the northeast area's largest cultural celebrations.
