SNMA Presents Dr. Mathur
The Student National Medical Association will have the pleasure of hosting Dr. Madhu Mathur, a physician who will be speaking on nutrition.
A certified diplomate on the American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. Mathur is recognized as Connecticut’s first certified Obesity Medicine Physician and is an experienced Pediatrician in her field. Since 2004, Dr. Mathur has dedicated her focus and attention to treating over and underweight children and has built a practice based on incorporation of lifestyle medication. Her team at Lifestyle Medicine Center, LMC, includes a registered dietitian, physical trainer, chef, and certified medical assistant to provide the best care possible to children and families in her practice. Dr. Mathur will speak at our school about her work as her pediatrician, her unique approach to her work and answer any questions students may have about Pediatrics or the topic of Obesity Medicine. Lunch will be served at the event.
