The Latino Medical Student Association and OB/GYN club would like to invite everyone to a talk held by Dr. Rey Mercado for Tuesday 3/24 in LH1 from 12pm - 1 pm.
He will be discussing reproductive issues/challenges in the Latino or Bronx community, as well as some information regarding his background and why he went into the field. He will also be discussing issues such as:
- Minorities in medicine, the stigma, struggle and opportunities
- How being a minority can be used in your and your patients favor
- How we can make a difference in our communities
