This ceremonial “coating” is a rite of passage as a student embarks on the clinical portion of their career in medicine.
We at the Touro University - Harlem Campus value the ceremony as symbolizing the entrance into the clinical portion in the field of medicine along with the responsibilities and expectations associated with becoming a pathologists' assistant.
