  1. Compare target-specific oral anticoagulants for initial and long-term treatment of venous thromboembolism.
  2. Discuss guideline-recommended approaches to appropriate selection of venous thromboembolism treatment.
  3. Describe new and emerging strategies to reverse target-specific oral anticoagulation among patients who develop adverse bleeding events.
