Volunteers will be conducting blood pressure screening, blood glucose tests, eye exams, and administering flu shots.
International Medicine and Dr. Palmer have been working together with the Senegalese community in Harlem for a while to address their health concerns.
The Senegalese community is truly looking forward to this screening. As their guests at their mosque, it is important to adhere to a protocol that promotes cultural understanding and respect in all communication regarding the screening. Therefore, there will be a MANDATORY cultural informational session on October 29th at 12 PM, hosted by Professor Muhammad, a leader of the community. The location of the meeting will be sent out in an email.
