Please join us for a lecture describing health issues and treatments prevalent in the American Colonial period.

The Wilderness Medicine Club is hosting a lecture called "Colonial Medicine: A Case History" by Dr. Phillips. 

People should attend because it a chance to learn about colonical medicine and how they approached the diseases of their time. This is done through the case history of a famous historical figure. 

Dr Ray Phillips:

  • Graduated from Yale University of Medicine, 1957
  • Attending Physician, Department of Medicine at Westchester Medical Center
  • President and Medical Director of Medical Exchange International
  • Author of four historical novellas of Native Americans along the Hudson River during the 17th century
  • Texaco Co. Exercise Cardiologist and consultant in international travel health medicine (1978-2004)
  • Re-enactor, Revolutionary War Physician, Stony Point Battlefield Museum
  • Captain, Medical Physiologist in Aero-Space Reseach and Development Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio (1959-1961)
