This is a topic we do not get much instruction on during medical school, but will very much be a part of our lives as doctors. Topics to be covered include: What is Medical Malpractice? How does the process work (in NY)? How are you judged? What you should be doing? Settling cases. Expert testimony.
Dr. Schwartz has given this lecture before and it was very well received. The 4th year students recalled that this lecture is very informative and interesting.
