Together with Dean Loewy and Assistant Dean Senhaji-Tomza at the COP we introduce the 2nd year Pharmacy students to our first year DO class. In our ongoing effort to provide Inter Professional Education, TouroCOP & TouroCOM students will take Introduction to Cultural Competence in Healthcare together Thursday, January 22nd (LH 1 8:00am).
We thank the IPE taskforce under the Chair of M. Esquire Anthony, DO and Charnicia E. Huggins, PharmD, who had the taskforce lead for the COP and Jeffrey Gardere, PhD for the hard work and vision in creating this opportunity. We look forward to the active participation of all.
The Faculty and Administration look to this Program to be an important building block in your education. We know that it will expand your awareness and appreciation as to the nature and depth of your colleagues’ training, and will be important in cultivating you as an effective member of the healthcare team.
