Guest Speaker: Dr. Joseph Tieri
SAAO is hosting Dr. Joseph Tieri - This event will help students realize how beneficial osteopathic medicine is and give insight regarding style of osteopathic practice. Pizza will be served.
Dr. Tieri is board certified in NMM and currently practices in upstate New York where he is part owner and partner of the Stone Ridge Healing Arts Center. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Touro COM Middletown and regularly lectures on osteopathy and alternative medicine. Dr. Tieri has also written numerous books and publications regarding osteopathy. He will bring a few of these to the event as well!
Additionally, Dr. Tieri allows students to rotate with him. If you are interested in an OMM elective, you should definitely express interest to Dr. Tieri!
