INSTRUCTOR BIO: Steven L. Blazar, MD attended Boston University School of Medicine. Following his graduation in 1982, Dr. Blazar completed his orthopedic residency training at University of Massachusetts before pursuing a fellowship in Spine Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital. Today, Blazar is board-certified and is one of the first orthopedic surgeons in Rhode Island to be certified to perform total disc replacement surgery. He is currently assistant professor in department of Orthopedics at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine Brown University and Associate Chief of orthopedics at Miriam Hospital.
