Haleh Ghanizadeh, MD, MPH will present on "Mindfulness in the Clinical Encounter" - Dr. Ghanizadeh is a forensic psychiatrist with a great deal of knowledge in behavioral therapy.

INSTRUCTOR BIO: Haleh Ghanizadeh, M.D., M.P.H., is Board Certified in General Adult and Forensic Psychiatry. She specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to address impulsivity, violence, dysfunctional emotional experiencing, and poor quality of life. A graduate of Vassar College, Columbia University School of Public Health, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and Duke University, she completed her Forensic Fellowship at the Federal Correctional Institute in Butner, NC. She has been a trainer for BTECH for over 15 years. Her special areas of clinical expertise include parenting, addiction, trauma, school curriculum and correctional mental health treatment. She has a private practice in Fairfield County, Connecticut and sees adolescents and adults.
