Do you want to learn more about defibrillation and cardioversion? During this event, Dr. Colbourne will teach you how to recognize lethal heart rhythms and how to intervene using cardioversion and/or defibrillation. There will be opportunities to practice identifying these rhythms on EKG and use your new skills to either cardiovert or defibrillate them.
Second years, especially for those of you with no prior medical experience, this would be a good basic introduction to some concepts that will be learned later in ACLS.
