Diversity Speakers Series Hosted By Physician's Plate
The TouroCOM Harlem Diversity Task Force is pleased to invite you to celebrate the diversity that makes our student body great.
We are also grateful to have this event catered with a wonderful Mediterranean feast from Village Crown & Esprit, organized by the Physician's Plate Student Organization!
We believe that embracing and celebrating our differences is essential in fostering a community rooted in tolerance and respect. Join us to hear from a panel of five TouroCOM-Harlem students (both first and second year DO students) who will be discussing how their various backgrounds and the ethical frameworks of their respective cultures and religions have drawn each of them to pursue careers in medicine.
This is a great opportunity to enhance your cultural competency by listening to first-hand accounts from representatives of various communities, as well as to support your peers as they share their stories.
