Sigma Sigma Phi and ACOP are teaming up to host a CPR/First-aid Training for the Boy Scouts of America. We are looking for volunteers who are committed to participate in this event. This event will allow you to receive CPR/First-aid Training and become a 1 year Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Merit Badge Counselor. It's a wonderful opportunity to build your communication skills in working with children, practice some first aid/CPR, and get 5 TOUCH hours.

After attending the training session and filling out the relevant paperwork, you will be able to officially teach Boy Scouts and help them receive their required merit badges to become Eagle Scouts (the highest ranking in BSA).

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. THIS EVENT REQUIRES PAPERWORK, A MANDATORY TRAINING***, AND A 5 HOUR COMMITMENT ON A SUNDAY.

Disclaimer: ***This is not an official certificated training but instead an information session with Dr. Colbourne so you can teach the boy scouts.

Boy Scout Session: Sunday, Sunday, November 26th @ TouroCOM from 11 AM - 4 PM (5 hours total)

2 Hour MANDATORY CPR/First-Aid Training: Tuesday, November 21st either 3-5 PM or 4-6 PM. You will need to attend even if you have previous CPR/First-Aid Training/Certificates.
