Join us as we work to provide health screenings for BP, A1C, and Vision.
This community engagement project seeks to respond to the existential crisis of Black maternal health in the U.S., New York City, and most specifically, the Bronx. According to NYC.ORG The pregnancy-related mortality ratio for Black women in NYC is more than nine times that for White women. As future doctors, this is a great opportunity to become aware of this crisis and start thinking how we can work to create change.
