Survival of the SIM-est Basic Skills Relay Race

The new SIM interns, in collaboration with the SIM Club, have worked on an event specifically for you. We will be hosting "Survival of the SIM-est Basic Skills Relay Race", a fun event for you to learn and test your basic first aid skills through some friendly competition!
10 teams of 3 are allowed to participate, and the 3 participants from the winning team will each win a $20 Horizon Market gift card AND a $10 Panera gift card. All participants will also receive a certificate of completion, and SNACKS will be provided to everyone in attendance.
3 skills will be tested:
- Chest Compressions (CPR)
- Tourniquet
- Blood Pressure
Each participant from a team will be assigned with completing one task, and will be evaluated based on timing and efficacy. We will host a brief presentation prior to the relay race. Please sign up on the google excel sheet that was e-mailed as soon as possible, as it is on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis.
It is highly recommended to bring one stethoscope per team (of 3), for the Blood Pressure section of the competition. However, a stethoscope can be provided to any team that doesn't have one.
