Join the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS) and your fellow students to lobby your elected leaders at this year’s DO Day in Albany!
Encourage your Senators and Assembly members to support legislation that is crucial to your future as an Osteopathic Physician and oppose bills that place restrictions and add unreasonable burdens. As an Osteopathic Medical Student, you are an integral part of shaping the healthcare delivery system in our state.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Rally with state senators and assembly members
- Listen to panel discussion on health care issues
- Educate legislators about Osteopathic Medicine
- Tour the capital building
