April is Sexual assault awareness month, no better way to honor and close out the month.
AMWA will be hosting a speaker from the Orange County Rape Crisis Center who will be able to provide us with knowledge regarding how health-care professionals can be better accommodating and as considerate as possible of survivors of sexual assault, especially since we are possibly one of the first people to interact with them post-trauma.
