“If You Have Passion, You Can Move Past Your Fears”

We stopped by TouroCOM Middletown’s campus during lunch hour on a busy day to talk with some of the school’s newest students. Members of the Class of 2027 hail from different backgrounds and each had a different inspiration for why they chose medicine. For one student, a career in social work led her to medicine. Another, spoke of how he conquered his fear of blood to become a doctor. A third student spoke of his family’s struggle getting healthcare without insurance and how he wants to prevent another family from suffering the same hardship.
