What does it mean to don a white coat? “It’s really emotional,” said Mackenzie Kimball, an alumnus of the University of Michigan “It’s the result of so much work—blood, sweat and tears. Putting on the white coat is a life-changing moment for me.”
Kimball studied neuroscience at the University of Michigan and is a graduate of the TouroCOM Middletown Master of Science Program in Interdisciplinary Studies in Biological and Physical Sciences. She said she knew she wanted to be a doctor from an early age. “I always pictured myself as someone who would help others,” said Kimball.
On Ice: Kimball said she has been skating for as long as she could walk and her brother plays hockey in the NAHL, the junior professional league of the NHL.
