Connor Patrick Bailey

In the year before he joined the TouroCOM family, Connor Patrick Bailey was an English and math tutor at a community college in the Tohono O'odham Indian reservation. The reservation is the largest of its kind with 2.9 million acres on the border of Mexico and Arizona.
“It made me much more culturally aware,” said Bailey. “They had a totally different world view. When someone in the community died the entire community would come out and celebrate the person’s life with song and dance.”
Bailey, originally a business major, said he opted for a medical career because he realized that he wanted to have a positive impact on the world. “Life is about gaining perspective,” he said. “I wanted to see people from different backgrounds and help them in any way I can.”
Fun Fact: Bailey plays the steel drum.
