Congratulations, you’re graduating! Here’s some info you might be looking for on the big day, and the events leading up to it.
But first, did you apply? In order to apply for graduation, please log in to the TouroOne portal (https://touroone.touro.edu/cas/login). Under the academic tab, you will find instructions on how to apply for graduation. Please note: You will be required to complete an exit interview with the Office of Financial Aid and an AACOM Graduating Senior Survey, with a signed confirmation form, prior to commencement. Noncompliance will result in a delay in receiving your diploma. The DEADLINE to submit your Application for Graduation is April 30th, 2022
HARLEM CAMPUS
Dates, Times & Dress Code
The Masters Class of 2022 commencement ceremony is confirmed for Monday, May 2, 2022, at The Alhambra Ballroom, 6th floor, starting promptly at 10 am.
The ceremony lasts approximately 1-2 hours. Graduates will be required to arrive at the Alhambra to the Crystal Ballroom located on the 5th floor the morning of May 2nd for graduation portraits at 8:30 am. Doors open at 9:00 am for family and guests on the 6th floor, Grand Ballroom; seating for ticketed guests is not assigned and is on a first come first served basis.
You will be able to store your valuables in the secured 5th floor Crystal Ballroom room during the ceremony. We do encourage graduates to keep their personal items (e.g. phones, etc.) or give them to a family member. Neither Touro nor Alhambra will be held responsible for any personal items.
The dress code for graduates and attendees is semi-formal or business casual attire.
Photos
Photography of the commencement will be available for download within 24 hours of the event.

Tickets & Guests
You are allotted 4 guest tickets per graduate for the commencement ceremony. The date for ticket distribution will be announced at a later date. Graduates will not need tickets. For students requiring additional tickets, please communicate with your fellow classmates who may not need all four. If additional tickets are available after distribution to the graduates, you will be notified.
Children need tickets only if they require their own seat. Due to spacing, strollers can be stored in the Alhambra Ballroom reception area on the 6th floor.
Cap and Gown
Harlem graduates, please order your regalia here: Masters Class of 2022 Regalia Order Form. The deadline to submit your order is Friday, April 8th, 2022.
Conferral of Degree
According to Touro College policy, you are considered to be a “Candidate for Graduation” status until the institution confirms you are eligible to receive a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Biological and Physical Sciences.
Hooding
The person who robes the student during the ceremony may be a family member or faculty. Please note one person per student per hooding.
To specify a hooder please complete the Masters Class of 2022 Hooding Form
The Hooding at Graduation form must be completed by Friday, April 8th, 2022
Persons hooding are allowed to wear regalia of their own however it is NOT a requirement.
Covid19 Protocol
The Alhambra Ballroom has provided clear instruction regarding adherence to Covid19 protocols. Every person entering the venue must show a completed vaccination record (dated at least 14 days before date of entry) along with any form of identification. CPR test is acceptable, must be taken 3 days prior to the event.
Bring a Mask:
All attendees, artists, staff, crews and visitors are required to wear masks when not actively eating or drinking. Attendees voluntarily assume all risks of exposure to communicable disease & viruses and hereby waives all potential claims relating to such risks. If you are unable to furnish proof of vaccination with a valid picture ID at the time of your visit, entry will be denied.
