The library provides access to 34 state-of-the-art computers, 28 PCs and 6 Macs. In addition to providing a connection to the library’s electronic resources and the Internet each machine has a complete office suite installed so students can use them to prepare class assignments and manage research projects. An additional 56 carrels are available for study, each with power and network connections for student laptops. Wired and wireless networks are available throughout the library and the 125th Street building. Two black and white laser printers and two black and white duplexing photocopier/printers are available for student use, as well as a large format printer for posters. All first and second year students are given a printing/copying allotment of $50 per semester; third and fourth year pharmacy students are given a $25 allotments per semester, third and fourth year TouroCOM students receive no allotment. After they use the initial allotment additional funds can be added by students through an online interface using either a credit card or PayPal. The basic cost to print is 10 cents for single-sided prints and 14 cents for double sided prints  and credits are issued for pages that incorrectly print through no fault of a student.
