WC4BL, AMC, SNMA, RHC, SNaHP, PHR, and APAMSA have teamed up with the TITSUD Grant Team to bring a very exciting event to Touro:

Introduction to Harm Reduction with the National Harm Reduction Coalition

(read about them here!)

This interactive training will be led by two experts with lived experiences and will cover important topics such as:

  • Best practices for healthcare providers
  • Biases/stigmas against individuals who use substances
  • Ways to champion harm reduction in your community

Why so many Student Orgs? We came together to work with the TITSUD Grant program in an effort to supplement and expand the curriculum at Touro to include education about Substance Use Disorders. This information is essential. No matter what field you go into, this is a topic that will be affecting your patients

If that isn’t enough of a reason, we will also be raffling THREE $20 GrubHub gift cards to participants
