Craig J. Amnott, DO was born in 1965 in Rochester, NY. He grew up along the western side of Keuka Lake and on the north shore of Massachusetts. Upon graduating from high school in 1984 he entered the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, graduating in 1988. Doctor Amnott then spent nine years serving our great country as an infantry officer both in the continental United States and overseas. In 1997 Doctor Amnott (with wife and three children in tow), entered medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2001. Upon graduating from medical school, Doctor Amnott began his residency training in Family Medicine at Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, GA, graduating in 2004. From 2004 Doctor Amnott served as a family physician both overseas (Korea and Iraq) and in the continental United States (Fort Drum) in clinics, hospitals and combat operations in Iraq. Doctor Amnott retired from the U.S. Army in August 2012 and joined Horizon Family Medical Group where he now practices as a Family Physician. Doctor Amnott has been married, for over twenty-four years, to the former Ms. Yong Ae Kim, of Uijongbu South Korea, and together they have four, out of the nest, children.
