New York, N.Y. –  The Touro-Harlem Medical Library has been awarded a federal grant to enhance student learning and community outreach through technology. The award, close to $10,000, will pay for 15 iPads and accessories for use by students and faculty at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM) and Touro College of Pharmacy, both in Harlem.

Steier, DO, campus dean of the new Middletown campus of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM) in Harlem, today announced that approval has been received from the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to recruit the first class of medical students for the new campus. The students will begin classes in August 2014.
