“My pediatrician inspired me,” said Eric Basile. “I remember the first time I needed a shot from her, she had such a good bedside manner that I didn’t feel it. She made me feel so comfortable.”

Basile graduated from Columbia University with a degree in biochemistry. Before he joined TouroCOM, he worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering as a research assistant where he was involved in five different non-therapeutic protocols along with a correlative retrospective analysis on patients recovering from prostate cancer. Basile is a licensed EMT.

Fun Fact: Eric has fenced since he was 11 and has been a part of the US national team. At Columbia, he helped the fencing team win the National Ivy League Championship three times and two NCAA championships.
