Summer Clinical Anatomy - Harlem
A summer anatomy seminar with Dr. Sushama Rich, Chair of Anatomy.
Who should take this course?
For most 1st year medical students and students in the health related professions, anatomy is one of their most challenging courses. This course, when taken for no-credit, provides an excellent foundation for those who want to preview anatomy to ease the transition to medical school or health related professions programs.
Summer Anatomy is a four week course that is taught by the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine faculty. The course covers anatomic terminology and teaches Anatomy by regions. By the end of the course you will have a sound foundation of Anatomy. The course will also provide you with study techniques, and teach you how to answer multiple choice questions. The course includes a lab component with demonstration of prosected cadavers and dissecting techniques.
Each student receives a certificate at the end of the four weeks.
There are weekly quizzes that will not be graded, but are administered to give you an idea of where you stand with understanding the material that is being presented.
