The National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) is the leading assessment organization for the osteopathic medical profession. By providing standardized exams to assess the competency of all osteopathic medical students and physicians throughout their training, the NBOME protects the public by guaranteeing that all DO’s meet the same national standards of medical knowledge and clinical skill.
All TouroCOM students must demonstrate satisfactory performance on the NBOME COMLEX-USA Level 1 and Level 2 (CE & PE) exams as a requirement for graduation.
Residency and Internship Match
Upon completion of their medical education, students apply to residency or internship programs throughout the country through the National Residency Match Program (NRMP), AOA Match, Military Match, or other matching programs. TouroCOM has compiled the following information on Match Resources and Match Timelines to assist students through the matching process.
TouroCOM is committed to supporting our students in securing residency and internship opportunities. Our match results over the past four years are indicative of this success.
