Shelly Warwick is an Associate Professor at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Touro College of Pharmacy and Director of Library and Information Services at the Sheldon L. Sirota Memorial Library. She currently serves on the board of the New York New Jersey MLA chapter and is the immediate past SIG Cabinet Director of the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIST). Dr. Warwick earned her MLS at the Graduate School of Library Science at Queens College, CUNY and her Ph.D. from Rutgers. Her career has included the roles of: medical librarian, academic instruction librarian, full-time library school faculty and information policy researcher. Her current research focus is health information literacy. She is a theatre addict, yogini, world traveler, and cookbook author.
